pilatus

One of our most favorite Mountain in Switzerland is Mount Pilatus in Central Switzerland. The top can be reached by the Pilatus railway, cable car or by walking. If you want to check the Entry-Price or the weahter…here is the link to the official Pilatus Site!
At the second highest floor on the Pilatus, there is an Adventure Park. So it was a MUST to go to the Park. It a rope Park which is divided into difficulty levels. So we started with the easiest level and go up to the most difficult level. It was very funny but also very hard. I really love rope Parks because you can be in nature and can enjoy the view but also you can do something for your fitness. AND you can challenge yourself.
With a partner like Bastian, everything makes fun. He’s my soulmate.

After we have finished the park we decided to go up to the highest level by cable car. On the highest level, you have a fantastic view. You can almost see the whole Switzerland…just joking 😉

Up there is a wonderful Hotel so if you want to stay you can enjoy day and night with this beautiful view. There is also a souvenir shop (of course) and a nice restaurant.

Switzerland has a lot of great and beautiful lakes…
The beautiful Cauma Lake in Flims/Graubünden is one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland. The lake is located in a huge Forest and can only be reached by a footpath.  The water of the Lake is clear blue and very clean so you can see the fishes. Do you want to go to this wonderful lake? But you don’t know the entry price or where to park your car? Here is a Link for all those information click here!
In summer the water temperature is between 20 and 24 degrees. Perfect temperature for bathing and because you have pay for the entry there are not too many people 🙂
Also, it’s the perfect place for scuba diving, stand up paddling or just relax and enjoy the water and the sun.
it was a great day and I love to chill there in the summer. But you have to look where you going. Sometimes there are some slippery rocks. I fell on one of those rocks and my thigh has now a scar (on the picture you can see the wound).
But now I have for my lifetime something that reminds me on this perfect day.
I always say, look on the bright side 🙂

I had some plans what I wanted to do in California. One of those was jumping out of a plane!
In my hometown, i was doing skydiving in a wind tunnel but I was never jumping out of a plane (because it’s very expensive in Switzerland). So it was a MUST to do this here!
And Guys I can tell you…it was really really nice 🙂 fear? NO! I was just happy and enjoying the feel-free-moment.

Another plan was learning how to scuba dive and get certified.  It was cool but because of my asthma, i could only breathe badly.
I really hope I can enjoy it some day more than at this time…

Some other plans were to do some weekend trips to LA, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Los Angeles – I liked Santa Monica and the beaches. Everything around the walk of fame was to much for me. To many people and too loud. In his way also beautiful but  I’m more the nature-person 😉

After 2 days in LA, we went to Las Vegas…
The journey to Las Vegas was really impressive. We drove right into a storm and the temperature dropped from 42 degrees to 15 degrees in a few minutes. It was spectacular to see a storm in the desert but also a little bit scary. As fast as the storm came he was over.

Now a special tip from me to you…
…on the way to Las Vegas you will see a Diner called Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner. Stop there! It’s a original roadside Diner built in 1954.
It’s like you had made a time-trip back to the 50’s. And the food and the milkshakes there are so delicious.

I was 2 days in Las Vegas. Not for partying and drinking. Just to see the desert and the Grand Canyon. I never saw something like this before. It was breathtaking!
I’m so happy to saw something like this.

After Las Vegas we flew to San Francisco.
After the high temperatures in Las Vegas it was really cold and windy in San Francisco. Unfortunately we could not go to Alcatraz but SanFran has many other great places you have to see. There are so many lovely coffee-shops and restaurants…and of course the Golden Gate Bridge!

In 2015 I was living in San Diego for 3 months.
It was my first time flying alone and my first time in America. So i was scared but in the same time very excited. California here I come! 🙂

Arrived in San Diego i was flashed it was so beautiful. The weather, the friendly people everywhere, my new home…so many new impressions.
I lived on a campus with other people from different countries and we were going to a school next to the campus.

Living and going to school in SD was like I was in on of those American Highschool-Movies. The teachers were so nice and funny. I will never forget one of our teachers, he’s name was Dan. He was always motivated and in a good mood. We had some lessons with him…one of the lessons was sport. He learned us how to play American football and baseball. Haha oh dear… I laughed so hard because no one knew where to run or what to do. But Dan was patient and after about a week we weren’t good but we knew how to play the game.
Thanks Dan for your patience 😉

What can I say to San Diego…it’s amazing there! I’m from Switzerland and if you walk on the road in Switzerland nobody will talk to you or ask for helping you. Not in San Diego! It’s totally normal to hear a compliment (about your shoes or your hair or something else) from a stranger. They also love to help if you have questions.
Next important thing to know about San Diego…Taco-Tuesday 😀 haha
Every Tuesday evening you can eat Tacos for 1 Dollar in almost every Restaurant/Bar (and you can drink huge Margaritas).

My favorite place in San Diego was La Jolla. It’s like a small town with a beautiful Beach and some great spots to eat (i had the best Breakfast in my whole life there!).

Despite all the lovely people around me i was missing my family and Bastian very hard. Because of my homesickness, my family came to San Diego. It was a big surprise and I was so happy so see them and show them all the cool spots I found in the 2.5 months before.

Another great thing I did in SD was renting a bike in Mission Beach and go on a ride along the beach. The route is 12 miles long and most of the sections are vehicle free.

And finally no more words… Here is my Travel-diary video from Saigon to Hanoi. The journey of my life, enjoy!!!

It was an amazing adventure. I am so thankful for all the memories, new friends, the experience at all and so much more.

To slow down my life and just concentrate on myself and what’s important for me was a fantastic experience. Now that I am back in Germany I see the things different than before. I am more thankful for all we have here but the key what I learned is that all this materialistic lifestyle stuff never can give you back what just the life itself can give you.

Enjoy every second and don’t stand still. Use your time with wisdom and try to live your life with so much passion and love as possible!

Peace and Love, I am Gone
